About
Hi, I'm Anna! For my senior Independent Study Project, I decided to make a list of tasks that I wanted to learn before graduating high school. At first, the list was random, and I started attempting to learn on my own - searching for random how-to's on the Internet, watching YouTube videos, and compiling my research in a giant Word document. However, after some thought, I created several guidelines to choose tasks and establish more of a procedure. Each practical task must be something that:
Throughout my life, I've learned things through experience that I couldn't have learned by reading. Hands-on experience does what the Internet never do, and results in more memories. I hope this inspires you to choose the experience - and enjoy learning what "Google" could never teach!
- I might otherwise have to pay a professional to do. As a soon-to-be college student on a tight budget, saving money will be high priority.
- is completely new or challenging for me.
- one of my family members or close friends can teach me. I want to use my senior year to invest in relationships that have been special to me, and accomplishing a task with someone is a great way to do that.
